Work With Me

If you're a small biz owner or a solo-preneueur looking for tips and a planned strategy to create a buzz about what you do,  I can help.  My specialties are showing you how to "think outside the box" to generate leads and to develop professional relationships so that your business prospers for the longterm.

If you're "stuck" in your professional life and want to make some changes:  whether you're interested in starting a business (but you don't even know where to begin your research) or you want to supplement your income (and want a sounding board to bounce ideas off of),   I was exactly where you are now not too long ago.  I can definitely help with this too!

What I offer:  30/60 minute initial consultations. Part of this first meeting includes my offer to introduce you to at least one like-minded professional who can further your success.

We can talk about what kind of follow-up will best serve you.

Do I deliver?  Don't ask me - see what my raving fans say about working with me under the "Applause" tab.  One of my favorites is from Jerry Elman, the owner of Schoen Place Auto:

Just like the select few teachers that made a difference in our lifes, there are the select few people who make a difference in our business lives.  Kathy Porter is one of those select few caring and gifted people.

In meeting Kathy for the very first time, she showed an incredible interest in getting to know me as a person and what I was trying to accomplish with my business vision.  She made me feel that I could achieve it, after the economy had me thinking that I would never get past the survival phase and perhaps not even survive.

Kathy has been the driving force of making me believe in myself and what I could accomplish.  And when I doubted or slacked off, she was always there to get me back on track.
She is driven by helping others who are in business who want to make a positive difference for others through their business.  She really cares about the people she knows and works with.

Kathy is one of the most interesting, caring, gifted people I have had the honor to meet and befriend.  Whatever I achieve in my business will be a result of her never ending listening, coaching, pushing, and incredibile creativity around ideas and stepping outside the box.

I most value Kathy for our friendship and discussions.  But in business everthing does come down to numbers and making money.  My business grew by $70,000 in 2010 and I have to attribute most of that growth to the coaching and help Kathy provided along with the networking connections she pointed me to.
